Dear CAD/CAM Dentists,

At Solar Turbines in San Diego, my Patient actually makes parts for airplane engines and explained that his company also uses CAD/CAM to accomplish this. I, of course, showed him our mill as well and he stood there fascinated with the process until his crown was finished. "This is the coolest thing ... right up my alIey. I have so much faith in the fit of this crown because I know the power of CAD/CAM technology". I was happy to reaffirm this faith when we seated the crown without a single adjustment. Interestingly, he came by the next day to show me pictures of his "milling unit"... a chamber that is bigger than two of my operatories combined. He pointed out all the Similarities in the process though, and said he looked forward to replacing his old gold crown next.

I really enjoy hearing these comments from my patients (one can never get enough positive reinforcement, right?), and CAD/CAM has made coming to work a little more fun.  I feel the team at Patterson Dental have hit a home run with CAD/CAM and I look forward to the next 18 YEARS with this amazing technology by my side.

Sincerely,
Robert J. Bey. DDS

Dear CAD/CAM Dentists,

I thought you might be interested to hear what some of my patients have said about CAD/CAM. Tan, an entrepreneur that owns several factories in Viet Nam gushed about how impressed he was after we completed his implant retained crown in a little over an hour. He stated "Dr. Bey, I am very impressed ... VERY impressed. I had to come back two weeks later for my last implant crown and now you can do it in one day. I am very impressed "

Karen is a patient who has known allergies to metals and the fact that I could make an all porcelain restoration and eliminate metal was critical in her decisions to see me for a CAD/CAM crown. "The result is just beautiful. I want to replace all my oId crowns with this type of crown!"

Shirley, age 66, isn't very computer savvy, but was fascinated with the scan, design and milling process of her CAD/CAM crown. We even took her back into the lab to show her how the mill worked. She said "I never would have believed that this was possible. Going to the dentist has become such a wonderful experience since I was a child. I really can't believe what a computer can do and how much they help us out every day ... who would have thought?"

Sincerely,

Dear CAD/CAM Dentists,

It is very exciting to be a CAD/CAM dental office, our favorite part is the wonderful comments from our patients! Here are a few we wish to share with you:

Thomas said, "As a new patient, the CAD/CAM technology made my decision easier for me to choose Dr Davey's office. I was fascinated to learn about my crown and actually see how it was made on the computer screen. What a great choice!"

Sara said, "My crown is so comfortable and natural feeling. The color matched my teeth perfectly!" Steven said, "One visit crown means one less trip to the office! This works great with my busy travel schedule."

The transition for my team was effortless and patients are no longer inconvenienced by taking off time from work. We are very pleased with CAD/CAM!

Sincerely,
Brian Davey, DDS
